Padel tournaments Six tournament formats, and the draw takes care of itself.

Single or double elimination, groups with a final bracket, americano, mexicano or king of the court. UnruleX does the draw, keeps the seeds in place and puts out every round. And if the club has a TV, the tournament goes up on it.

How it works

From sign-up to champion

  • They sign themselves up

Leave sign-up open and the members of your competition sign up as a pair, with a maximum number of places if you like. The tournament has its own chat.

  • No app? They still play

You add them as guests, with no account. Perfect for the friend who only turns up once a year.

  • The draw, done

When the bracket, the groups or the first round are generated, the seeds keep their place and the rest is random. And everyone gets a notification with their opponent.

  • The tournament, on the club TV

The screen rotates through the standings, the bracket, the courts and the next matches, and with a QR code anyone can follow it on their phone without logging in.

Six formats

Pick how it's played

  • Single elimination

Lose and you're out. A classic bracket all the way to the final, with an optional consolation draw for those who go out early.
  • Double elimination

A second chance: you have to lose twice to be knocked out.
  • Group stage with a final bracket

First, everyone plays everyone within their group. Then the best of each group go through to a knockout bracket.
  • Americano

You switch partners every round, with the matchups set from the start. Whoever adds up the most individual points wins.
  • Mexicano

Like the americano, but each round's pairings come from the standings: the ones doing best play the ones doing best.
  • King of the court

Win and you move up a court, lose and you move down. Court 1 is the one that counts.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need the app to play a tournament?
No. The organizers can add you as a guest, with no account, and you play without having downloaded anything. To sign yourself up, you do need the app and to be in the competition.
  • How do players sign up?
You sign them up, or leave sign-up open and the members of the competition sign themselves up, as a pair. Anyone who isn't a member yet has to join first. Anyone without the app you add as a guest. And if you set a maximum number of places, it shows "Full" once they're taken.
  • Can I run a tournament inside my existing league?
Yes. Tournaments are separate events that live under the same competition as your seasons. You can run several tournaments at once.
