How a UnruleX league is set up and played.

How long does an UnruleX padel league last?
Each league decides. There are competitions that run for a month, for three months and for the whole year: the organiser sets the sign-up, start and end dates, and UnruleX adapts to whatever format they choose.
How many matches are played per season?
In Swap, between 7 and 8 matches, with closed divisions of 8 or 9 players. In Classic it depends on how many pairs sign up. Either way you know from day one, because the whole calendar is generated when the competition starts.
How many players are there in a division?
Swap divisions are closed, with 8 or 9 players, which is what the rotation needs so that nobody repeats a partner. Classic divisions are flexible: from 6 to more than 15 pairs, depending on the community.
How are players sorted by level?
Each player states their level, or adds their Playtomic rating. The organiser then splits everyone into balanced divisions, so nobody plays where they do not belong.
How do promotions and relegations work?
The top player or pair in each division goes up and the bottom one goes down, automatically. The system applies whatever rules the organiser has defined, with no debates and no favouritism.
What is the play-in?
The tie that settles the borderline places at the end of the season: the second-to-last and third-to-last of a division face the second and third of the division below. Whoever wins stays up or moves up.
